At a General Election hustings in 2010, Town Crier Alan Myatt asked all candidates to promise that if elected they wouldn’t take any second or other paid job from another employer (except the government).
I gave that commitment then & have stuck to it ever since.
Lots of you will have seen the progress in Kings Square and I hope some of have heard about the Award to the Music Works (in Chambers, the building beside Kings Square) and seen good progress at the new huge Primark in Eastgate St, due to open before Christmas.
