When anyone with children is thinking of moving to a city, or lives there already with children, one of the key questions is always going to be ‘how good are the schools: so how do we measure ourselves and what’s the answer?
We have the second longest platform in the country at Gloucester Railway Station but not enough trains have stopped here for the growth in passenger demand. Things have now just got a lot better, after years of work with Transport Ministers and Great Western Railways (GWR).
It's great to see that Further Education colleges will receive an extra £400m for 2020-21. We'll need to see how the finer detail pans out, but this is really good news.
