As the weather gets more inhospitable please remember these are the numbers and people to contact if you come across anyone on the street in trouble.

Constituents may also want to know that:

  1. The city council has agreed an emergency ‘crash pad’ facility with P3, Taylor House, Newton House & the City Mission and will be used if need be from this evening
  2. Extended opening hours & sufficient volunteers to cover have been agreed in the short term at the City Mission base in the George Whitfield Centre. However anyone interested in helping should ring 01452 901922 or email [email protected].
  3. The council estimates that those needing help this evening should all be catered for but has allocated additional emergency sums if need be for e.g. additional extreme weather clothes.
