Family
I married Anthea on April Fools Day 1989 in Limuru, Kenya. Anthea, who is Kenya born, was running a tented lodge in the Rift Valley at the time. Since then we've lived in Hong Kong, China and - since 1997- back in Gloucestershire. This is where I was brought up and our home in Gloucester is close to my parents, one of my sisters and my brother, and Anthea's mother - who all live in the county.
We have 3 children: Bertie, Kitty and Rowland, plus Twiglet (Jack Russell with a bit of something else) and Woosie the cat. The children have played city/district or county rugby, cricket or hockey level, tho Tiwglet is the best footballer..
