Gloucestershire County Council
The Counservative controlled Gloucestershire County Council has seen huge improvements since it was elected in 2005, but it now also faces huge
challenges in the Autumn of 2007, as its budget is decimated by the problem of the floods - roads that have collapsed, schools that were flooded and in
insureance costs that have risen hugely.
They are working for the Recovery of Gloucester - but need Central government financial help. Much has been promised and little has arrived so
